Association Declan Rooney has over 30 years of broad experience
on a variety of Civil and Municipal engineering and construction projects
on two continents. Upon graduation in In 1975 he joined a Vancouver-based major
international engineering company working on the design of an oil tanker
terminal and berthing facilities on the In 1977 he joined Genstar Development Company, a
land development company, as in-house supervising design engineer. Subsequently, in 1979 he was
appointed Manager of Engineering, heading up the department responsible
for engineering and services installation of the company’s major
developments in the Lower Mainland and In 1981 he joined Hunter Laird Engineering Ltd. as
Senior Engineer with direct responsibility for planning, engineering and
project management of a number of high profile land development projects
in the Lower Mainland for the private sector together with drainage,
sewerage, waterworks and roadworks projects for the company’s Municipal,
Institutional and Provincial Agency clients. In 1989 Mr. Rooney became President of Hunter Laird

SUMMARY: Mr. Werchohlad joined Hunter Laird Engineering Ltd.
in 1973 as a Designer. Over
the next three years he received a variety of experience in both field
construction supervision and office design. In 1976 he was appointed Chief Design Technologist
with responsibility for co-ordination and supervising the Company's
design, drafting and survey personnel. Mr. Werchohlad's principal areas of expertise are
subdivision planning, feasibility studies, detailed design of Municipal
works, project management and field construction supervision and contract
co-ordination. In August, 1981, Mr. Werchohlad became a principal

EXPERIENCE SUMMARY: Clarence Arychuk has been involved in Town Planning/Land Development Consulting since 1980. Working for the District of Surrey in 1981 he gained a breadth of experience in writing and implementing Official Community and Neighbourhood Plans. As a Development Officer, with Surrey, Clarence co-ordinated the review and approval of projects including residential, commercial and industrial land uses. In 1987, Clarence Arychuk was appointed Senior Planner with the McElhanney Group. Responsible for the Planning Department, he co-ordinated the land development and Municipal Planning functions for this consulting company. In 1989, Clarence joined Hunter Laird Engineering Ltd. as Senior Planner and one of the principals of the company. He has applied his planning skills to the preparation of land development plans from the conceptual stage through to construction. His ability to evaluate the development potential of property and assess the feasibility of projects is a valuable asset to our project team. His in depth knowledge of the Municipal approval process ensures projects complete on schedule.
